What can I say, this franchise is pretty consistent, it has me entertained until very quickly I am not entertained. It is consistent as I still can't believe that Beca (Anna Kendrick) is once again seen as a brilliant music producer, but I can believe that the best thing that has ever happened to these girls has been being in The Barden Bellas.
With this film hopefully being the swan song for the A Capella singing group, it does provide closure—to storylines that I certainly cannot remember from the previous instalments. The girls team up for one final competition where they must compete with bands with real instruments to snag the opening act gig for DJ Khaled—which is mentioned every 3 minutes, I don't know how you scored this type of promotion, but BRAVA to you sir.
But really this film is about finding your family even if that means finding that with friends rather than disappointing relatives.
