This film is too dark for me, and by too dark I mean the how the film is lit. It is hard to see what is going on and when this film uses shadow as its prominent antagonist, you can literally tell what you are meant to be jumping at. However if you could see something on the screen, it is not going to save this film from itself. The is for character or character development, the Slender Man mythos makes no sense and is poorly presented. It could have been a modern twist on The Ring but the film is not smart or structured well enough to make that claim.
